Come to Collingwood’s Historic Downtown as it transforms into a wintery playground with dazzling holiday lighting installations, seasonal winter magical banners and a day filled with unique signature events – all to launch the holiday season. The day features visits with Santa’s reindeer-in-training, Living Christmas Windows, the magical nighttime Santa Claus parade, starting at 5 p.m., and the official lighting of the town’s Christmas Tree, immediately following the parade.

Alliston’s Annual Rotary Christmas Parade! Thousands of families, both local and tourists, will line Victoria Street to catch the Lighted night time parade! The Alliston BIA kicks off the Festivities with our Lighting of the Downtown Christmas Tree. Mill Street and Victoria Street at 5:30 pm. Other free offerings from the Alliston BIA event include hot apple cider, hot chocolate and again this year we will be adding handmade “Rurban” tree ornaments which children can decorate and take away. Shops will be open for shoppers to take advantage of the Festive Sales!
